Thursdays Face!

So I have decided to dedicate this blog to fasion! Skin care, makeup, perfumes, clothing.    This post today is dedicated to today's makeup look, any comments or feedback is greatly appreciated!

First things First, I live in Florida, so it is almost impossible to wear a ton of makeup, especially full coverage so it can be tricky to get the look I want without being able to always use the products I want... Here is a quick pick of todays finished look, only took about 15 mins.

So I began with a clean face, I washed my face with Neutrogena's Pink Grapefruit face wash- which left my face feeling fresh, clean and exfoliated. I followed that with Neutrogena's makeup removing cleaning towelettes (I don't leave home without them. They are EXTREMELY handy and have helped me through MANY precarious situations); after which I think used Neutrogena's Rapid Clear Treatment Pads. (This is my every day morning routine incase anyone was wondering, I basically follow the same regimine at night aside from the towelettes, I use the Night Time ones)

After letting my face air dry for several minutes I then Primed my face with Mineral Fusion Mattifying Primer with oil-absorbing kaolin clay that I purchased from Lucky Market. I have combination skin, and this is the only primer I have found so far that does not leave my skin looking too oily or drying it out. Next I applied Eyeperla Anti-Aging Eye Serum (applying from the outer corner in, this helps to avoid unnecessary pulling of the delicate skin under the eye and avoid extra wrinkles.)

Once that was all dry I lightly sprayed my face with NYX First Base Pimer Spray, and again, once dry, I used a medium flat brush to apply concealer under my eyes as well as to any dark spots I saw on my face.

Now! To begin with the makeup application!  I began by mixing @Smashbox's (purchased from @Sephora) Camera Ready Dark Spot Correcting CC Cream in medium/dark with @Pascifica Crystal Blur Illuminating Foundation (Also purchased from Lucky's Market and is 100% Vegan) in Light/Porcelain.  I applied this with the Airbrush Effect Beauty Sponge by @Revlon.

Here I am with no makeup
and here I am after stating my makeup

Then I applied @Smashbox Hydrating Perfecting loose powder in light, with a Sonja Kashuk brush from @Target. My Brows were shaped with a cream brow pencil in Mink by @Zuzu and filled with a dark brown shadow by @Stilla, I used the tiny brush that comes with the gel liner from @Maybelline, but I don't have pictures of those.

Next I did some very light contouring and highlighting with @Profusion Studio contour Pallette, I used the first color on the bottom around my cheek bones and jawline, and I used the first highlight color on the top under my eyes, to help blend in the controuing and in my chin and forhead area. (My favorotie contouring kit believe it or not is L.A. Girl Contour Kit but someone stole mine, figures huh?) I used @ZuZu liquid liner that I purchased from @LuckysMarket in black Pearl on my top lid. I also used a which stick liner along my cupids bow to give the illusion that my top lip is fuller than it really is.

Next I used Lorac's Unzipped Gold Pallette, Tartlette Toasted Pallette and Butter London Glazden Pallettes.  I used Unleashed from the Lorac palette on the inner corner of my eyes, bringing it up and out a little. Then from the Tartlette Toasted Palette I used Simmer in the middle and slight upward through the crease. The I did the same with Flame but a little different. I put it in the middle, brought it up through the crease, blending it with simmer upwards towards my brow and outwards to the outter corner of my eye. I then used the color Warmth above the crease, using it to blend the colors together and bring them up and outward, around to the side and slight under the outter edges of my eye liner.    Then from my Butter London Palette I used Stargaze and blended all the way up to my brows, and all the way around.

and ta-dah! quick and easy Florida, no melt, hot weather makeup!
